The Semai Community here lives in crippling poverty. With approximately 3 kilometres away from the main access road, they live without clean running water and electricity supply. With Palm Oil and Rubber plantations rapidly eating into their ancestral land, the Semai's future is one that is bleak with little or no protection for their culture, heritage and ancestral land.
